This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is not allowed when using SimplyFeedback. It applies to all users of SimplyFeedback, including account owners, team members, invited users, survey creators, and anyone else who accesses or uses the Services.
SimplyFeedback is operated by EmberPeak Studio Ltd. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. By using SimplyFeedback, you agree not to misuse the Services or help anyone else do so.

Do not use SimplyFeedback to harm people, invade their privacy, mislead respondents, collect information you are not allowed to collect, or make high-risk decisions about people without proper safeguards.

You are responsible for the surveys you create, the questions you ask, the people you send them to, and the information you collect through SimplyFeedback.
You must only collect, upload, submit, analyse, or otherwise process personal information through SimplyFeedback where you have the necessary rights, permissions, notices, consents, lawful bases, and authority to do so.

If you say a survey is anonymous, you must make sure that is true in practice. Do not collect names, email addresses, unique links, metadata, free-text identifiers, or other information that could identify respondents unless you clearly explain this to them.

If you invite people to complete a survey, you are responsible for making sure you have the right to contact them. You must comply with applicable email, messaging, marketing, privacy, and anti-spam laws.

SimplyFeedback may use AI to help generate survey questions, analyse responses, summarise feedback, identify themes, classify responses, estimate sentiment, and produce insights.
AI-generated outputs are provided to assist you. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, misleading, or unsuitable for your particular use case. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
You must not use AI-generated outputs from SimplyFeedback as the sole basis for decisions that have legal, financial, employment, educational, housing, healthcare, insurance, immigration, law enforcement, or similarly significant effects on a person.
You must not use SimplyFeedback to generate or support unlawful, discriminatory, deceptive, harmful, or abusive content.
SimplyFeedback is not designed for high-risk decision-making.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, you must not use SimplyFeedback for:
You may use SimplyFeedback to gather general feedback, but you remain responsible for making sure your use is lawful, fair, transparent, and appropriate.
You must not use SimplyFeedback to knowingly collect personal information from children unless you have our prior written permission and you comply with all applicable child privacy, consent, safeguarding, and age-appropriate design requirements.
For the purposes of this policy, “children” means individuals under the age at which they can lawfully consent to the relevant processing in their country or region.

You are responsible for the content you submit to SimplyFeedback and for making sure you have the rights needed to use it with the Services.
You must not misuse SimplyFeedback or interfere with the operation of the Services.

However, we may access, review, preserve, or disclose customer content where we reasonably believe it is necessary to investigate misuse, protect people, secure the Services, comply with law, enforce our agreements, or prevent harm.

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of SimplyFeedback after an update means you accept the updated policy.
